How Mona Lisa might have looked at first

Mona Lisa with some digital correction of photo

The Mona Lisa is a half-length portrait of a woman by the artist Leonardo da Vinci. It is the best known, the most visited, the most written about and the most expensive work of art in the world. With time its appearance must have changed but with modern digital corrections one may try and reconstruct what it might have looked like originally. The photo in this blog is one such attempt. One wonders why the tips of her fingers are red.
